Thank you to all who attended our gala in Seattle on September 26! We are deeply grateful for the support shown from our community to join us from near and far. Stay tuned for an event recap on our Catalyst blog.
What does Densho mean to you?
Without your support, Densho would not be the trusted resource it is today. Whether you have known us since our humble beginnings, or just discovered us today, we invite you to share your thoughts with us by writing an anniversary card.
Your message will be added to a compilation of 30th Anniversary Cards to Densho, featured and displayed during our in-person and virtual events, and in other public content. When submitting a message, you will have the option to make your card private or anonymous. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and reflections with our community.
Stories that Endure: Virtual Celebration
In honor of Densho’s 30th Anniversary, we are hosting a virtual celebration, Stories that Endure: 30 Years in Community on October 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The program will feature a conversation with Densho Executive Director Naomi Ostwald Kawamura and Founding Executive Director Tom Ikeda, who will share key memories and significant moments that shaped who Densho is today. We will also explore the evolution and impacts of Densho’s work, as well as our hopes for the future. Guests will have the opportunity to share their own stories and reflections. Please join us as we honor Densho’s past 30 years and envision our next 30 and beyond.
