Last month Densho, in partnership with Internet Archive, launched the Digital Library of Japanese American Incarceration Films—an unprecedented online collection of more than 100 films, spanning 80 years of footage, documenting the forced removal and incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II. This new resource not only helps preserve important historical materials and previously hard-to-find films, but it also supports educators, researchers, and community members seeking to learn and teach about this critical chapter in US history.
