Event OverviewDensho: The Japanese American Legacy Project is pleased to invite you to attend a special morning screening of the new feature film American Pastime, starring Aaron Yoo, Gary Cole, Judy Ongg, Leonard Nam, Masatoshi Nakamura, winner of the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. American Pastime tells the powerful story of Japanese American families whose lives were disrupted during World War II by forced detention. As the country doubts their loyalty, they cope with the stress of living behind barbed wire by turning to baseball, a source of strength, honor, and pride. Director Desmond Nakano (White Man's Burden, Last Exit to Brooklyn) will be joined by Executive Producer David Skinner, Producer Tom Gorai, and Associate Producer Kerry Nakagawa.
